| Cedar Hive The roof is covered with reclaimed aluminium sheeting. The floor is an Open Mesh Floor (OMF) to help prevent Varroa as part of an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system. The Brood and Super are standard British National. The Crown Board is ply. Comes with a Queen Excluder All our Cedar Hives are made from locally grown Welsh Red Cedar. The trees grew in a peaceful valley 10 miles from our workshop and now need harvesting. We endavour to keep our 'tree miles' as low as possible to reduce our carbon footprint. Although a few knots may be seen the Cedar provides a lightweight and durable product in which to keep your bees. A Hive Stand is not included but can be purchased separately | |||||||||||||||||||
