All our Cedar Hives are made from locally grown Welsh Red Cedar. The treesgrew in a peaceful valley 10 miles from our workshop and now need harvesting. We endevour to keep our 'tree miles' as low as possible to reduce our carbon footprint. Although a few knots may be seen the Cedar provides a lightweight and durable product in which to keep your bees.

A nucleus of bees click here for details The nucleus comes either through the post or you can collect from our apiary in Shropshire where you can see your bees flying prior to pick up. The colony consists of a laying queen, active bees, developing larvae and stores. Excellent value and a superb kit
